Svend Åge Madsen

A less well-known designer, little biographical information is available. However, distinctive features have made these items highly sought after by collectors of Mid-Century furniture. Madsen’s designs are often airy in appearance, using angled legs, floating drawers and curved surfaces. This philosophy allowed him to produce large items of furniture that do not overwhelm a simple space. Most notably, his executive desks have become very popular.
