Rosengren Hansen was a prolific designer during the 1940s and 50s. His ethos was to bring Modernism to the masses demonstrated by his collaborations with mainstream Danish manufacturers, such as Dyrlund, Skovby and FDB. In the 1960s he began designing for Brande Møbelindustri where he used higher quality materials allowing him to adopted more sophisticated joinery techniques.
