Description:

A “model 363” bookcase or room divider, made from elm wood with a contrasting beech wood frame. Affectionately known as the “Giraffe” due to its tall, slim, honey yellow appearance. The elm wood has a distinctive grain, enhanced by the blonde colour lacquer. The unit comprises a shelved cabinet with hinged doors, two adjustable shelves and a fixed top shelf with bookend detailing. A lovely example of mid-century craftsmanship, these items have become highly sought after, particularly in the Asian markets.
