Erik Kirkegaard

A specialist in chair design, Erik Kirkegaard produced simple yet stylish pieces, typically utilising an A-frame, and stained teak wood. He’s most well-known for his “Model 49” chairs providing a seat upon which you could comfortably sit for hours at a time. This quality makes his designs the chair of choice to complement any mid-century style desk. The majority of his models were manufactured by the renowned studio Hong Stolefabrik.
