Danish Armchairs by Finn Juhl

Designer: Finn Juhl
Manufacturer: France & Daverkosen
Year of Manufacturer: 1950's
Description:

An early pair of teak “Model 133” chairs. These are commonly known as “Spade” chairs due to the distinctive shape to the arms. These are iconic examples of MCM design, combining a lovely sling shaped arm, curved back rest and straight lines on interesting angles. They have been reupholstered with new cushions in a “chalk” coloured, machine washable chenille. Note, these chairs are currently with our furniture restorer for a minor joint repair and replacement wire seat supports.
