Verner Panton

The “Marmite” of Danish design. Panton was mentee of Arne Jacobsen and a “once-in-a-generation” furniture/interior designer. His ground-breaking approach towards shapes, colours and materials was ahead of his time and his works, divisive though they may have been, were always memorable. Panton is best known for creating the world’s first single-element moulded plastic chair, psychedelic interiors and geometric fabrics produced by Mira-X.
