Ditzel was a talented all-rounder, designing fabrics, jewellery and tableware as well as striking furniture. Her designs have a light-hearted, playful feel evident in her most iconic designs “Hanging Chair” and “Trinidad Chair”. She collaborated with Kvadrat, Georg Jensen and Fredericia and is credited with reinvigorating British enthusiasm for Danish design when she opened Interspace, down the road from our Hide and Teak showroom, in 1968.
