Architect, urban planner and furniture design Genius, Mart Stam was responsible for creating one of the 20th century’s most iconic chairs, the steel cantilever chair, which was designed in the 1920s. Few designs have been as radical, or had as much impact – a chair no longer needed four legs! Stam went on to work at and be an integral part of the iconic Bauhaus.
