A graduate of the prestigious Danish School of Design. He successfully combines sculptural form with structural stability and his designs are renowned for having elegant silhouettes. Although less well-known than his contemporaries, Wikkelsø has become increasingly popular today as his furniture was only manufactured in the 1950s and 1960s, making them genuine mid-century collectables.
