A pair of “Model J64” side chairs made from beech.  These items feature a lovely layered ply detail to the seats and organic curves to the back and arm rests.  These chairs were typically sold in a painted finish.  To find them with original clear lacquer is uncommon.  As well as showing off the quality wood grain, this lightens the appearance of the chairs making them suitable for smaller spaces.
